Actual information on Claravox

Today, the pitch on my Claravox was jumping uncontrollably making it so I could not play during my lesson. Swapped out to my e-pro.I sent a recap and attached a video to MOOG. So frustrating.

Have you resolved this problem?   Mine does the same thing intermittently. Also get the popping sound on the volume antenna when touching it just like the EWS.   Also the volume antenna does not mute completely when my fingers are through the loop as others have mentioned. 

BTW I have lovely #411.

Left-handed Claravox number 928 has arrived! All working as expected so far! Immediately much easier to play in tune than a theremini, it’s like night and day! 

Does anyone  know how many Claravox theremins there will be in total?  Mine is number 1024.

Definately havew to agree there - Get the editor - like the theremini having the editor makes a huge differene to the things you can easily control

Has anyone come up with a good violin, cello sound?  The editor is really good but it is a lot to figure out.  Enjoying the learning process.   Playing modern more than I thought I would.  Haven’t noticed a downside to modern mode so far.  Also a whistle voice would be cool.

Based on an exchange I had w/ Jared from Moog, I'm going to be sending my instrument to them after the holidays for all of the latest fixes and components.

#21 is back from Asheville and sounds great! As a bonus, if someone breaks into my house I can beat them to death with the new heavy antennae

  Is the antenna different than original?  Glad you got it back.  Look forward to seeing your videos.

Agreed! With a short sound sample (there’s likely to be quite a few contributions over time)
