We have scripted the voice of the theremin into our new experimental musical play. (However, music hasn't been composed for the theremin-- playing could range from "sound effect" to highly organized musically)

The show will premier in HERE's American Living Room Festival (http://broadwayworld.com/viewcolumn.cfm?colid=10772) at the 3Leggedog. Performances are July 30 and 31. We would be able to offer a very small stipend.

The show is "Looking for Limbo," written by Joseph Keckler and Erin Markey, a dark, comedic, ludicrous blues popera which takes place in Limbo at the time of the Vatican’s decision to eliminate it. Limbo, located on the Earth’s moon, is the receptacle for the souls of unbaptized babies, worthy pagans and other mortal misfits as well as the living’s lost wits, vain desires, and wasted talents. The play follows Baby, a baby who has just died during labor, during her acclamation to the culture and citizens of Limbo, a gaggle of boisterous giant babies, as well as her efforts to rescue Limbo from its impending elimination.
