Does anyone know where I can get hold of a new or VGC used Moog Etherwave Pro?

Sorry, I really should have mentioned that!

I'm in the UK.

Well you could be in luck!

While hunting through a very long list of suppliers and stores on Google last night, there was a store in Canada that had one, but they said on their site that they would ONLY ship to Canada. Useless for me - perfect for you! :-)

I'll have another hunt through my browser History and see if I can find the name of the store, but I'm thinking that there can't be too many Moog suppliers in Canada, so try what I did and type 'etherwave pro' into google and get a nice cup of coffee to help pass the time while you scroll through your list!

Hope that helps?

David

Hi David, unfortunately the UK's only Moog distributor is Turnkey, and they only had 5 Etherwave Pros in the past year - all of which are now gone. I don't think there'll be any more.

Your best bet is to hold out for someone to sell theirs second hand. Hopefully Moog will have the good sense to develop a Theremin of equal quality in the near future.

If you remember the name of the shop, I'd be very greatful:)

I had a look through my browser history, but unfortunately I'd managed to delete it, so other than going through all of the search results again, I'm stumped!

I'd suggest typing 'Etherwave Pro' into Google, and if you can refine the search to Canada only, I'm sure you'll find it. There can't be that many Moog dealers in Canada, can there? There's only 1 in the UK!..... and that's half my trouble! :-)

Oi...David. Sure wish you remembered that store name. I've called every music store that I could find in Canada, and no one knows where to find one. The closest I got is finding the distributor (SF Marketing). I have a few stores making some calls for me, but it looks grim.
I can't believe Moog stopped making this model...it seems perfect!
