Wanted RCA Theremin.

I built a replica RCA Theremin in 1995 based on the original RCA circuit with cabinet design and measurements taken from photos. It works pretty well and being a violinist helps to play it but I'd love to own and play a real RCA model. My knowledge of vintage electronics and carpentry would help me to restore one in poor condition and it might be the only way for me to purchase an RCA model at an affordable price! So, does anyone out there have an original RCA Theremin for sale, in need of restoration that needs to be brought up to playing standard and form part of a musical home?

Hello.

Unfortunately, you won't find any RCA theremins working or not at a low price.

However, the drawback to "restoring" a vintage instrument is that once restored with replaced parts, the value drops. That might play in your favor when looking for restored vintage theremins.
