That's a great time slot.
I wish I could be there.

It's a good long time too, but I guess 20 min on either end must be used for your set up and strike.
Are you going to be able to record the performance as well... maybe a Live Album?

congrats Kevin!

i got there about 5:15 cause i couldn't find a stinking place to park.
i didn't have my camera, but another friend of Kevin's did. and we both had the idea of video taping the crowd. some of them were just standing there with their mouths open. two young girls were trying to explain the theremin to someone over the phone.
i saw another woman "air" theremining.
and to top it off i think Kevin almost had a groupie. ;)

Just to follow up...

Was fun to see Buddy and other friends there. I haven't yet seen the videos that Johnny (one of my friends from work) took.

The music attracted a good-sized crowd and people seemed to enjoy themselves. My wife took some pictures and as soon as she downloads them from her camera, I'll post some of them.

The age-range of the listeners was across the board -- children through seniors. The program consisted of my own compositions and a couple of my arrangements of familiar tunes. One never knows how an audience will react however I was pleased that so many people found a program of (mostly) original electronic music to be of interest.

While my emphasis is on original composition, I will likely arrange some more familiar classics for such events.
