Here are your partners for the upcoming M!A Winter Wednesday : Traction .

Chris Alford - guitar/brains/chair
Johnny Bertram - casios/guitar/hat
daniel johnson - saxophone/fabric/BOSS SP-303
Thomas Grillo - theremin/fingers/elbow grease
Walter Young - sticks/drums/symbols
Duncan Dance/a modern dance company - right/left/in
Clay Hardwick - projections/injections/introspections

Jonathan Sims will be hosting us at The Commons at Eudora Welty's Birthplace at 719 N. Congress Street. The performance area is a large room with an unfinished interior. It has a very spacious feel and all surfaces are wooden. There is also a small stage surrounded by windows at the far end of the room. There will be dancers and improvised video projection as well as cloth forms and drapes to be projected on and interacted with.

The happening occurs Wednesday, Feb. 25th from 7-9pm. It will be two 45-minute free improvisations with an audience/artist interaction period during intermission.

I've just been invited to perform with Mississippi Improv Alliance at yet another performance in their winter wednesdays series program. This one will be earlier in February, on the 11th.

The performance will take place at a coffee shop called Sneaky Beans, located in the Historic Fondren District of Jackson at:

2914 N State St
Jackson, MS 39216

The time will be 7pm to 9pm, and also features two 45 minute sets of free form improvisation.
