[For those who don't know, 'The Gadfly' (or 'Ovod' as I'm told it is in Russian) is a Russian novel based around Italy under the Austrian's dominanace in the mid-19th Century. Shostakovitch turned his pen to writing the score for a 50's film adaptation. There you go - something learnt everyday ;-) ]
Have fun,
MC
