Has anyone tried playing a theremin through an autotuner? I'm thinking that might give some cool effects.

This link (http://youtube.com/watch?v=VuHou8YpLPo&feature=PlayList&p=B68F743C56AD2787&index=0&playnext=1) is to a sequence of three short youtube vids.

The first is played on a Gakken (a Japanese toy theremin, pitch only) - the second is the same recording with a bunch of effects added, including pitch correction throughout and the third is a different recording, again from a Gakken, and pitch corrected afterwards, amongst other things.

Gordon,
Are you doing the pitch correction as an Apple application? Or, have you bought another pedal?

Good Luck!

That's all done in GarageBand (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GarageBand).

And here's a video of John Armstrong playing an etherwave theremin through Antares Autotuner (Am pentatonic).

I tested it out through Antares. It was rather cool acctually. You could still do vibrato without slipping into another note.

Might use this sometime...
