Based on Melville's work, "Bartleby the Scrivner" and starring Crispin Glover, Bartleby (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0230025/) has a soundtrack dominated by theremin. I personally found the story a bit dull, so the movie wasn't terribly exciting either, but the theremin footage in the extras on the dvd was definitely worth the watch!
