This is a very short sighting (no sound) hardly worth mentioning.....but I will anyway.

For those who actually enjoyed being alive in the 1980's, and haven't convinced themselves that all of the music produced in that decade was rubbish, can briefly spot a theremin...well, a pitch antenna and a shakey hand...on the VH1 program 80's One Hit Wonders.
(How's that for a run-on sentence?)
It occurs during one hit wonder #34 "I Know What Boys Like" by The Waitresses.

I was also reminded earlier this week of one of my favorite songs of 1986. Even though I still had no idea what a theremin was at the time, and it was no doubt done entirely with sythesizers, the intro was so thereminesque that I was immediately hooked.
It was the Moody Blues track "Your Wildest Dreams".

I was watching that and didn't even notice it was a theremin! My wife had to point it out :)

My excuse being, in the shot right before the theremin he had a midi controller on top of his computer monitor and I thought his vibrato was him banging on the controller (it was a close up).
