Greetings! i finally acquired a used Theremin and have been spending way too much time playing the "Theme from Brazil"

I do have one question.

I have a Burns B3 Deluxe and when I bought it the seller did not know if the power adapter is original. Can one of you B3 deluxe owners in the US tell me what the spes should be on power.

Thanks!

The power supply needed for all B3 types has to have between 14 and 24V DC output. 200mA are more than enough.

Take care since some power supplies have a much higher free-run voltage than the nominal voltage which is indicated. One of my clients bought a 24V 3A power supply which had more than 32V at its output when a small load like the B3 was connected and finally the B3 was grilled.

Thanks for the quick and helpful reply. I am picking up an Enkelaar in the morning, and quickly falling in love with the theremin, working my way up to a Moog Pro.
Peace

Welcome, Mr.U! I'm sorry, I can't help with your question, since I'm a theremin newbie as well. Just wanted to say hello. Good luck with the B3!
