greetings:
just back (and inspired) from the EtherFest2005.
i watch pamelia and other 'left-handed' players sometimes
play 'right-handed' theremins from the back.
so i experimented by playing my 'RHS' theremin as a 'lefty'.
i immediately noticed that the volume response was really
different. consequently the tone of the theremin was more to my liking (kinda' like duane allman/s slide guitar sound).
now here/s what i/m getting to:
i resumed playing 'right-handed' from the from panel, but
i switched the antenna, where the 'loop' goes toward the back. i noticed immediately that there is a tremendous boost in gain and responsiveness. i also like the tone better.
my question is this:
does anyone know if this is harmful (electronically)?
michael
