Hello...
I finally have a big theremin (Paia theremax) up and running to be controlled with my movements in a chinese pole ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kvED-LHERew )

I just wonder, does anyone have any tips for stuff to try with the theremin, like effectpedals and stuff?

I like delay pedals. They're good.

Couple of examples of me, an etherwave and a fair bit of delay...

I nice all in one guitar effects pedal is easy to find and not that expensive. I use one when I play and it can create more effects than can be counted.

Yeah, mulit=effect pedals are the way to go.

In addition to delay, try some reverb and maybe some distortion.

Looping pedals! Yes, DigiTech and Roland have some great pedals--- especially Roland.
Some manufacturers, like Akai, have a pedal that loops, delays and tape loop emulates.
Make sure you shop, before you drop a 'monetary unit of your preferred currency'.

Good Luck!
