Do you think there are any big problem(s) I could encounter trying to build a theremin from a kit? I'm looking at the moog etherwave kit. I feel I'm a moderately skilled builder and electrician, basically, I've done a little of this stuff before. Also, I will can get help on this because this will be a project.
Potential Problems?

The Etherwave kit is not bad for starting since the circuit board is ready assembled and soldered. So what you will have to do is just soldering the wires leading to the front panel potentiometers/switch/audio slug and the antennas. Out of that you will have to stain the housing.
Other kits require the entire soldering of all circuit board components and are much more difficult to make working.
