Happy Birthday Lev - something new, volume for pitch only?

To commemorate Lev Sergeyevich Termen’s birthday I spent the last month working on a volume control method using only Radio Shack parts. This design is for all those “pitch only” theremins out there. The results surpass the control of the old RCA style and could be setup to mimic the true RCA theremin volume hoop as some theremins mimic the voice.
