Yeah, I'm thinking that keeping things simple in the actual theremin and its mods is a good plan... Have a separate rack/footpedal for filters, harmony, effects, etc. Keep the original "etherwave" sound and nice rich square output for filtering. Then deal with most of the filtering, options, and signal processing externally.
