Hello,
My dad and I are planning to build a theremin together. I would like to make it like an original RCA theremin, but with a five octave range and the sensitive volume control like Clara's instrument. I'm really interested in creating the wonderful sound of the original theremin. What schematics and whose examples should I use to accomplish this? All of the information is a foreign language to me, and my dad will be the one who understands the electronics. I just need to find the correct information to give to him so we can get the result I'm looking for. Any and all help will be appreciated.
Thank you,
Jackie

You may want to check out the keppinger tube theremins. Not RCA or Clara's but a good tube design and great sound theremin. the build is reasonably well documented and parts fairly common. mark keppenger will even help you troubleshoot on the kep yahoo group!

Thank you. I checked it out and I think that this is the one I want to (try to) make.
