So it looks like I'll be heading first to Spain and then to England in the near future. I of course, am planning to take my Theremin with me and I was wonder two things:

First, is there anything I should know about flying with a theremin, any issues of warping at high altitudes or shipping safety suggestions

Second, Is there anything I need to know about power conversion while in Europe...I know that my Etherwave standard doesn't work when I put a three prong to two prong adapter on it and I was wondering if the adapters required in Europe are the same...

thanks everyone for any help

If it's an EWPro it can run on several voltages (it's in the documentation but I just recently learned it myself)

Try out the search too,
here's one thread where this got discussed

Topic: advice? I'm travelling to the UK with my theremin (voltage etc.) (http://www.thereminworld.com/forum.asp?cmd=p&T=2579&F=1&p=2)

Best wishes on your traveling theremin adventures, and please keep us posted on your experiences with it abroad!

When flying I would take the theremin with you as your carry on if possable. I would also sudgest you have your user manuel with you. I recently flew with my theremin, and had no problems, but a couple people at the security check were a little confused. Best wishes...
