High everyone!
My name is Eric, and im a 25 year old Musician from Arkansas. I found this forum when i was debating on whether or not to order a theremin and finally i ordered the Etherwave Standard, which im thinking is a piece of crap, but nontheless im fascinated with the instruments capabillity of mimicking so many other instruments from the upright bass (bowed or plucked) to the violin and others in the family, to the operatic female voice, to the harmonica, basoon, or even the steel guitar, to the osc'd out sine tone. Its really a marvelously deep instrument though my knowledge of it at this point is in its infancy.
My intonation is different every time i play it hahaha.

Anyway Id like to meet some fellow Theremin enthusiasts and hope to get to know some of you.

Hi Eric,

I won't give my name right now because I have a crazy internet stalker after me! (Hi Cindy!) but I am sorry to hear you are not happy with the Etherwave.

Mine is a pre-Moog (I think) Big Briar. I have had it for about 3 years now and it has been great. I have not had any problems whatsoever with it and it sounds great.

I am just getting to the point where I can play some melodies and leads with it.

A friend of mone recently called me "the premiere thereminist" in my city. I will not get too big a head over that one, though. I only know of about 5 other players, 2 of which are in one of my bands at present.
