Dorit Chrysler playing in Jonathan Coulton's latest version of "Still Alive"

Dorit Chrysler composed a new intro for Jonathan Coulton's new version of "Still Alive", along with a new theremin-centered bridge.  Sara Quin is doing the vocals this time. Here's the video:

Dorit plays the theremin with a most unusual technique. It is an approach I have never seen used by anyone but her. Basically, she is playing the pitch antenna with her hand bent back so the palm faces the ceiling, and she leads with the inside of her wrist. While Dorit seems happy with the results of this method, it is not one I would recommend for any newcomer to the instrument because it does not facilitate rapid articulation. I'm not saying this is wrong, but I do believe it is an inefficient method because it does not take advantage of all the muscle groups available to the thereminist. It's sort of like typing with one finger.
