How should we improve Theremin World? Vote on UserVoice!

First, I want to thank everyone for all the awesome ideas and feedback you've given on the site.  I have a ton of passion for keeping the community alive and thriving, and I wish I had time to implement everything you've suggested tonight!  Unfortunately, I'm just one person with a few hours here and there to work, so I want to at least make sure I'm spending my time in the way that helps you most.

So... I've created a UserVoice site you can use to suggest and vote for new ideas.  I'll seed it with the big ticket items from our backlog, but feel free to add your own thoughts too.  For now, each user gets 10 votes to spend on the ideas.  Let's see how that works out, and if we need to, we can upgrade to a plan that gives everyone more votes to spend.

To get started, just go to http://thereminworld.uservoice.com and start posting new ideas or voting for the ideas others have posted.

Thanks in advance!

Jason,

Could I just clarify one point..

Does "Uservoice" now make this "suggestion box" forum redundant ? - And if this is the case, could you re-assign it to a "Technical Theory" Forum ?

;-)

Good question.  Truthfully... I don't know.  I don't have a "voting" feature on TW, so having User Voice for that is really nice.  I might just turn this forum into a "Site Announcements" type forum and I'll create a new one for "Technical Theory".... done!

Now that Private Messaging is completed, what would everyone like to see next?  Feel free to suggest here or in our uservoice page.

I am getting old but I never heard of the UserVoice Forum!

Where is it mentioned? Why not list the link in Forums or even under the main forum tab at the top of this webpage.

Jason you are incredible, it must be difficult to focus on your paying job. (-'

Always know you have my sincere appreciation.

Hello again Jason,

In profile where it says "last seen" I think this should indicate the last time that user logged in. This way someone could tell if a member is still active by their logging in, even if they are not posting. I don't currently understand what last seen refers to, maybe I am missing something?

Keep up the fine work!

Hi Jason,

I would like it to be possible for the initiator of a thread to be able to edit its title.

@Touchless - Hmm.. that's what it should indicate.  But it appears I may have a bug there.  Would you like to see time along with date?  Others have reported that it shows the current date for everyone, regardless of when they actually logged in, but I haven't been able to reproduce that consistently.  Also, I've pinned this post so it stays at the top of the Suggestion Box forum.  The link to our uservoice page is at the top of this thread.

@FredM - Thanks for the suggestion.  I'll put that on the to do list.
