I'm trying to get a Big Briar Etherwave Theremin to play and it won't go. It's been in storage for a few years and it worked when it was put away. I found out the wall transformer (14 volt ac 200 ma) was not supplying AC to the unit so I replaced it with another 14 volt ac unit and I now have power but it still won't go. I've checked the regulators and they're working (+ and - 12 volts). I've tested all the transistors, diodes and chokes and they're all fine. I've also replaced the IC chip to no avail. If I move my hands around on the circuit board I can get it to squeal and moan to some extent but it's not playing like it should.
Any ideas on what could be wrong?
