@xtheremin8, OH! No wonder. I have always seen people place their hand on the etherwave's volume antenna when pausing to speak on YouTube. I will try and recalibrate it. Andy sent me an email to inform me of the upcoming firmware update.

Rich, a very quick recording, first with and then without the EHX Analogizer.

I used the theremini factory preset Evolution and no other effects. The recording was made direct to computer from a DI Box in the effects chain so it's not coloured by my amp.
It is a subtle effect - less so with the theremini than on my etherwave - after a while I tend to stop hearing it, but when I turn it off the sound is thinner.
There is a gap between the with and without recordings, and I inserted a beep into the gap just to emphasise it.
Gordon,
Thanks. Interesting and counter to what I was expecting. To me the first part sounds "cleaner" and the second part sounds a bit more grungy with a slightly more delay (what I was expecting the Analogizer would do from reading about it).

Ah, it is counter to what you expected because my description was inaccurate. The first sample was without and the second sample was with the effect. Oops.
Yes, grungier is a good word. Also mellower - the bucket brigade delay rolls off the highest frequencies - on my etherwave (tuned by Thierry to go higher than a factory tuned etherwave) it mutes the very highest notes.
I used the free Windows software "Virtual MIDI Sliders" by Wouter van Beek to create an Editor for the Theremini. The Editor works by sending MIDI Continuous Controller messages to the Theremini. I created a VMS file for the Theremini using the software, that can be used as an editor, especially to access the 12 extra waveforms in the Theremini. More information here:
