Being this week in St.Petersburg on a business trip, I could not resist and had visited the Lev's House, Marata street 50 (a.k.a. "Nikolayevskaya street" before  October  Revolution 1917).

Here are some photos.

Able, but no sense. All the photos are in native resolution  and are accessible by the "Save picture as..." function in the context menu.

Old camera, sorry.

Sounds like you had a great time visiting Lev's house in St. Petersburg! I've always been fascinated by the architecture and history of old houses, especially in such a beautiful and historic city like St. Petersburg. I too would love to buy an old and large house someday, and I've been working with a Mortgage Broker Bristol to try and make it happen. It's definitely a challenge, but the idea of owning a piece of history and being able to restore it to its former glory is really exciting. I'd love to hear more about your experience and any tips you might have for someone looking to find more cool houses in this city!
