Hi all,
I'm looking for suggestions for theremin pieces that might work well to celebrate Halloween. Not too hard, please.
Thanks,
Beth
The Death of Ase from Grieg's Peer Gynt Suite, might work. Really simple melody everyone knows - though not maybe in a Halloween context.
And if anyone is interested here, I did up a string accompaniment and put it on my Accompaniments page:
Since the piece is for strings to begin with, I removed the first violin part from the accompaniment which you can simply play on the theremin in the original range. The accompaniment should fit that now. The score is there too with theremin part if you like.
Note I added a little introduction (repeat of second phrase) to let you get set before coming in.
