Jaycar Theremin Mk2 Volume Tuning Problem

Hello there.

I'm having a bit of trouble with my new Theremin Kit (mk2 2009). Im at the stage where I need to tune the Volume. I have followed the instructions so far:

1. Slugs are set as per instructions
2. 2.5V occurs between TP GND and TP2
3. Falloff occurs as my hand approaches the disc
4. Voltage SHOULD be 7V between TP3 and TP GND but it stays fixed around 3V

I've attempted to adjust the variable POT VR3 to alter the voltage but it makes no difference at all, which suggests to me that something is misplaced, grounded or otherwise. I've tested the resistance on VR3 and it does change between the values advertised. Has anyone else had this issue and if so, what did you do to solve it?

Thanks for that. I'd seen that post and it doesnt seem to address these issues, but I should indeed go through it and fault find. Cheers for the reply. I'll post back when I know more :)
