The amazing Midiwiz, Ed Eagan, plays the Eagan Matrix of the Haken Continuum using the Moog MIDI Ethervox theremin as a trigger. This particular sound is very “experimental” and is unlikely to excite the more traditional musicians among us, but this is only one of countless possibilities.

In case anyone is wondering, the strange looking device to the left of the E’Vox is a Skot Wiedmann synthesizer.

But I bet you the didgeridoo crowd will love it!

A duet for theremin and didgeridoo - why not?

Wish I had an EVox. Got into the theremin game way too late. I'm starting to experiment with the Theremini connected to the continuum to see what the possibilities are there.

Well - that didn't go to well. Tried connecting an external MIDI source (keyboard with ribbon controller to the Continuum and it got all confused thinking it needs to update firmware). It's wailing like a banshee now as well...

So I re-installed the editor and things are ok now. Channeling external MIDI messages into the continuum might have some issues (there's not a lot on this in the manual). Also my firmware level is 7.42 and the current editor says it goes to 7.31 so I'm checking to make sure I'm ok there.

I was wondering about the synth on the left. It looks like an old school futuristic film editing steenbeck!

Amazing, it's really interesting to see the assignable functions of the left hand.

I guess the possibilities are endless!
