Ok, in the "Dare to be stupid" category I'd like to offer this. The collective noun for a group of thereminists came up on Theremania and I remembered I had started down such a road a few years back on Levnet and Theremin World. Here's the idea: Choose your favorite and post here. Theremania and Levnet will also post their choices. This way we can keep ourselves distracted while the world ends in the meantime... I'm really feeling from the list the word "Theremony:" Theremin of Many....

While, I'm sure we've all used the word "Thereminist" to describe what we do in a singular form. i.e. "I'm and Thereminist."

Well, those highly-ranked must be Thereministers, then, identifiable by their predeliction either for dressing backwards or for being owls, capable of looking over their shoulders 180. Which implies a Chapel, which as an argument may be neither here nor there. As it's there as a min, and we want to be heard, we're not quite a herd, which makes us a Thora, as in Last of the Summer Wine. Therefore, I suggest a Whine...
