o come on, this spam attack by those joeclarkses can't be the end of theremin-world. i wish too that some parts of the internet should get electrocuted, but it did not happen yet. it's like that guy who recently rang for days, told me hes from windows and asked me to install some program on my mac! wtf!? yes sure.... what a telephoneterrorism.and here some greedy advids maggots. whatever, maybe it's just to easy to become a member here?  i hope jason finds soon a lasting solution for that issue, looks like he's just off for a vacation.

i take my good arm and drop some melodies on my freshly tuned and esp1-ed theremin with my friends.

(edit: removed picture, didn't mean to "egg" on anybody here. really sorry)

Please.  The reports of TW's demise have been greatly exaggerated.  Why are you always egging it on Christopher?

I must say these latest automated trolling cross-posting from the Moog fora are interesting (in a bad way).  Add some AI to shake it up and I'd be fooled for longer.

If everyone had guaranteed basic income (and housing, food, & medical) a lot of this would go away and we could have nice things. What people won't do for money seems to be the null set.

If anyone has better ideas for beating these spammers, please let me know. Unfortunately my forums code won't let me "annoint" more people as forum moderators currently. I'll have to see if I can make that work, and then more people can help police the forums while I'm busy at work.

Jason you are doing a great job!

I am not the sharpest marble here but my idea would be to not allow the post button to accept any posts from a newbie for a period of time that has any links in them like http, https, blog, etc.  The post would just vanish or auto delete with no indication why. Sometimes the post could be a sleeper where the link is added at a later date.

Christopher

Edit: All the Spammer wants is his multiple links to be found by search engines to increase his ratings somewhere.

Stop Spam or I will shoot this dog!

Jason, what does the "Report Post" thing at the lower right of a post do?
