Using a DJ Controller with Theremin

I am on the hunt for a decent used amplifier for my newly ordered theremin, however, I came across somebody in an old forum mentioning that they plugged their theremin into their Native Instruments DJ controller and that it worked really well. Does anyone else have experience with this or recommend it? I have a Native Instruments DJ controller I can borrow from a friend and have a nice set of speakers at home. So if I can save money and use these and produce a great sound, I would prefer to do this. Any input is much appreciated!

oh, what theremin you'll get?

that setup could work, or not. no experience with that native controller. traktor? i guess you have active speakers, or does the controller feature a amp with enough power? or are you using the controller as a audio interface?  basically, you can play your theremin through a hi-fi, by attenuating the rather hot line signal to avoid overdrive, just make sure the theremin is grounded. i prefer a (grounded) whatever-channel mixer with effect send/return and active speakers.
