New player

Hello all,
I've been playing guitar for forty years, I've been plinking at piano for years(not really a player), and I play a bit of lap steel too. I have been fascinated with the theremin for so long that I can't remember when I first heard of it. I've remembered them from movie and tv show soundtracks...I am a horror/sci-fi nut...and love hearing them in almost any song. I finally gave in to the attraction and bought a theremini a few weeks back. 
I am very glad that there is an online community dedicated to this wonderful and magical instrument.
