Saludos.

Gono,

Everything you present I really like. The  English Translator is working fine. Visit this webpage which is my NPN rework of the Thierry design.

http://www.thereminworld.com/Forums/T/32509/thierrymin-2020-perfectly-linear?post=215249

There is a lot more not seen but this could evolve into the big Classic theremin sound.

The coils you use should indicate they are shielded to help keep them from interacting with each other.

Also for my NPN re-design I can post the PDF file for easy printed circuit board making the only way to explore theremin design.

Cristopher.

That's how the theremin ended, it doesn't have the best linearity but it is relatively stable despite the ferrite, I liked the result and it's quite simple.

Gono,

Very nicely done and that enclosure is beautiful. I like that display of what appear to be spiritual necklaces.

Bravo Goño!  The pitch and volume fields seem large and workable enough.  I'm glad that you found something of use in my oscillator explorations.

What does your volume circuit look like?

Thanks Christopher for the link. If they are necklaces, it is my wife's collection.

Thanks Dewster. If there is enough space to give it a good dynamic, although I lack years of practice.
This is the design for now.

Needs a little more polish but might work as a simple proximity volume control. Gono I owe you one.

Pot-1 should be user accessible?    I have not made anything since last Christmas, this is a good starter project.

This could be good with the ThierryMin but for me that theremin is subject too much thermal drift.

My Phoenix would be the next choice for $20 more if you wanted the Classic Sound, but that design has been retired.

Gono what is the frequency of your Pitch Oscillator?  900 khz would be ideal

Thanks for the schematic Goño!  I'm not entirely clear on how the volume side works.  Does it rely on mains hum (i.e. 50Hz / 60Hz) pickup from the hand?
