Shielded cables

I’m looking at purchasing a studio monitor, probably a JBL, for my Etherwave. In the Moog instruction manual, a shielded cable is advised for the connection. Who can comment?

Instrument, line level audio and microphone cables are shieded, loudspeaker cables aren't.
