I have an inexpensive Burns Zep Theremin that I use occasionally in the studio. It was giving problems. So I opened it up and identified the problem. It is this middle resistor going to the middle pole on the adjustment pot.

I can solder. But I can’t identify the needed replacement part. Does anyone here have the ability to identify it? If so, let me know and I can provide a photo.

Thekbk34, resistors are color coded and you can easily look that up on the web.  But if you supply a good color photo perhaps we can help.  i don't believe the Burns schematic is public knowledge.

I'm assuming it must look burnt, as you identified the problem visually...are the stripes burnt off?

But if a resistor went poof, is the pot ok? And it is likely the *result* of a problem, and not the underlying issue...

Pictures!
