myself, I use the Polytune3 Mini made by TC electronics, and I'm very happy with it. it is very precise with an instant reading (bright leds too). I have it hooked up on a gooseneck like this one : https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B07S8G38J6/ to have it at the right height and distance so I can always just glance at it. Have a nice day

I don't know what's best. But for practicing with the theremin, it's useful to have a control for both the pitch and holding the pitch or the range of the vibrato you do.

While looking for this, I found the app "voice pitch monitor" for Android. With an emulation program, this also runs on a Windows notebook. So the screen is clearer. The tuner can be used at the same time.
