Subscope Voicematic 120 power supply

I am purchasing a Voicematic 120 from Dominik and am curious if anyone has some insight into a proper power supply for the US. He said that he cannot provide a power supply due to the 110V in the US, and his manual also states the following: "switched power supplies are not so good for theremins. use old school devices, the heavy ones. 12V / at least 300mA." I've found some options by searching with these specifications, but I wanted to check if any Voicematic owners have a particular recommendation. Thanks

It powers my Voicematic 3 perfectly, the only difference between the one I use that the one in the link is that mine is a 1500 mA power supply.

Thanks a lot Brandon! Those PSUs are good-looking. For sure the 1000mA model will do as well, yeah i won't go below 300mA. Maybe you already have something like that on hand. If it's not a regulated PSU also a 9V model may work well - those usually output more than 12V.

That old Radio Shack 12 volt transformer appears to be AC not DC, for AC Brandon might consider this one from Amazon.  

If you need clean 12 volts DC you might consider this one at Amazon.

Both above allow access to earth ground "if needed".

I still dabble in theremin research but can now do it in a more relaxed way.

Edit: It was never indicated if the Voicematic 120 used AC or DC as my own theremin designs can use any source of 12 volts. Switching power supply walwarts “might” create weird noises/sounds in a theremins audio output.

Thanks for noticing that the second adapter link that I shared says in the description that it is AC->AC, Christopher.  The first link demonstrates an AC to 12 volts DC adapter.  For what it's worth the second link is also an AC to DC adapter despite what the description says.  You can tell that its output is DC as it has an adaptaplug tip allowing the center to be either positive or negative.  Only AC adapters with DC output needed the adaptaplug tips as having the tip positive or negative only wouldn't make sense if the output was AC.

And I use an ungrounded power supply for my Voicematic as my amp is grounded and having an earth ground on both would be more likely to introduce ground hum noise.
