It's hard to believe, but the theremin is nearly 100 years old! The exact date of the theremin's invention is unknown, historians place it somewhere between late 1919 and early 1920.
To help us all celebrate the 100 years (or so) since the first time the theremin was demonstrated by Leon Theremin, designer Paul Sizer and thereminists Bruce Woolley and Hypnotique have created the Theremin 100 brand pack.
Whatever event you are doing to celebrate the legacy of the theremin, or the technologies that Leon Theremin went on to inspire, feel free to download and use the logos and copy lines for your posters and press, and adapt them to suit your event (Please add a design credit for Paul Sizer on larger format print).
The identity pack includes a collection of images and logos for use on websites and posters as well as copy text to use in your articles or event listings.
Let's make 2019 and 2020 the years for bringing the theremin to the hearts and minds of the world and celebrate a century of making waves! And don't forget to use the hashtag #Theremin100 and send your events to Theremin World to be included here!
Download the Theremin 100 brand pack here or from the Radio Science Orchestra website.
