Well, I'm sure the sharp eyed amongst you noted that White Noise Fest 2008 (WNF) has been cancelled.

I was waiting to see how it went before making a decision, and now we know how it went, so the decision is easy. It's too soon for Hands Off to join forces with WNF - they need one or two solid events to get a bit established and then we can think about that option again. The apocalypse is on hold.

So where does that leave us? Up the proverbial creek, sans paddle? Of course not.

Law Three of Sontaran Battle: Always have a Plan B.

Guess what - I have a Plan B. (And a Plan C too, but we'll get to that if needed. You might recall we got to Plan C last year and it was fine.)

Sontar-Ha!

So, Plan B.

Did you notice that yesterday I suddenly decided to go see Lydia K at Oxford University today?

Yup, Plan B is that we go seriously up-market. How do you like the sound of that?

Oxford is geared up for conferences and the like, and it has a club scene. That could lead to some interesting possibilities. :-)

Well, there you are. I've got some emails to write - stage one is to find the right college at the right price. I'll let you know how that goes...

Wandering through Oxford last night after Lydia's concert (actually, I was wandering for quite a while - I had lost my car :) .. And looking at the buzz of the town, combined with the archetecture and river... I was thinking.. A) What a shame it was that I had missed Lydia's workshop B) What a bummer that WNF had been cancelled C) What a superb place Oxford was, and how it might be a great for a Theremin convention and/or the launching of Epsilon...

... But at least I now know ... I have often wondered why I get ideas and others seem to 'pick them up' and beat me to the patent office or to production or to.. .... Now I know that I am not the transmitter, I am a simple reciever :( ... Makes me wonder if I have ever had an original idea -

LOL!

Spooky.. There I was wandering through, Naas in County Kildare, and not even the briefest image of Oxford passed through my mind... I guess I am neither a transmitter or a receiver....

Having said that, Brilliant venue!

Darn! its worse than I thought.. terrymin, you were thinking of Oxford before I was, Gordon was talking to Lydia about it before you were thinking about it.. lord knows how long before that Gordon was thinking bout it.. But, Whatever, there was a LONG delay before I thought about it...
Perhaps the intermind is not a big truck .. Perhaps its just a load of tubes (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EtOoQFa5ug8) and my intermind browser was written by ... Er..
