Hi guys! I bought a Kees Enkelaar theremin before buying my Etherwave Pro. I have just a couple of tips.
The Kees theremin requires an adapter of at least 200 mA. I'm pretty sure the tip needs to be 3.5mmm, but I'd suggest taking the theremin with you to the electronics supply store just to be sure. (Believe me, I learned that the hard way.)
You CAN use a 9V battery to operate the Kees theremin, but I don't recommend it. I've found that it drains a battery fairly quickly, and when the battery start to get just a little weak the sound quality goes down significantly. That's my experience.
