A little synth with your little theremin

My Gakken Synth arrived a few days ago (bought from an eBay shop) and I have a question for anyone else that has one.

Did yours include a base plate?

Mine came with a screw to hold one in place, and the instructions depict one being fitted, but I don't see one in the box. Maybe the Japanese text says to cut one out of cardboard or something, I just don't know...

Mine did not included it, I suppose it goes without one.

I have put mine into a wooden cigar box.

I think I'll leave mine open for now and try touching parts of the circuit with my fingers while I play for that circuit bent sound.
