Thank you Jason, that is very thoughtful of you.

I have just recovered my internet connectivity so have been off-line for a couple of days. (I went a bit mad with a screwdriver and disconnected my phone-line and fried my router at the same time.)

The current situation is that I have enough confirmed attendees for it to go ahead, and enough people still making up their minds that if they all say "yes" the event will be exactly full. I do not want to turn someone down who has already expressed an interest in attending.

So... when someone decides they cannot come I will post to this thread that a space is available.

Now I'm off to check a whole bunch of emails.

Hands Off 2009 finished a few hour ago, and I am totally exhausted, so I'll post more in a few days time. For now, an observation that Mrs C. made:

"Everyone has one of two looks - intense concentration or a great big grin."

I think it is safe to say that a great time was had by all.
