"Fred M,
Where are you here?"

Hi TT - Thierry's comments woke me up a bit.. I have been fiercely wielding my soldering iron! :-) .. Spent last few days designing + building a speed controller for a synchronous AC motor to modify a laminator .. I can now transfer toner directly to PCB and make circuit boards cheaply in minutes.. This equipment saves me hundreds of pounds required to get boards made quickly.

"Do you accept my apology?" Yes! .. But the original issue was not about me - I merely jumped into something which was not really my business - I believed you were being rude to someone in a way which was entirely uncalled for.. IF you owe anyone an apology, it is him.

"Good Luck!" Thanks! I need all the luck I can get!

.. On the matter of health problems - I know how ones health can severely affect who one is, and how one behaves.. Fortunately I have now (mostly) after 26 years, learned how to deal with hormone related behaviour swings - but I know that blood sugar and hepatic disorders can completely alter ones temperament and cause one to become a completely different person - particularly in the first few years before one has learned that the brain is a biological computer with behaviour that can be entirely modified by the chemical signalling occurring in it..

I expect that sleep problems could have similar consequences.. I found (eventually) that facing the victims of my appalling behaviour, apologising and explaining that I was in a state of "impaired responsibility" was the only way forward - People can be amazingly understanding!

So, Good Luck to you too!

Very interesting tidbit you alluded to ... "modifying a laminator ..."

Care to share any information on how to do that?
