That's a Theremax Theremin, available new in kit form for around US$250. I just don't get eBay-- do people actually buy way overpriced stuff?

Whoa! definitely the longest and most inacurate ebay listing Ive ever seen.  Ha, thanks for posting it.     Anyone else getting totally creeped out by that photo? Reminds me of Victorian spirit photography.

I dunno.  I always preferred the tone of copper over chrome.  Chrome sounds too thin.  Some would say to use brass all the way, but copper has the real "gutsy" sound.  (newbies: I am joking!)

Too bad they never answered my request to play it in person to experience the magic for myself.

After  "Exhaustive Research" I have determined that "Tev" was the guy that purchased the "Ocean Side Property" in Arizona a few years back. He must of given the "Ultimate Theremin" as a down payment. ----- finally ---- the smell of fish makes sense.
