I do wish they wouldnt do this - its such a pain!
As Windows goes, XP-Pro is the only version which I have found reliable and handles all my legacy stuff - I dont need anything more - I would happily pay the cost of Windows 8 just to keep XP supported.
But my souped-up dual Xeon Dell wont run Windows 8 - And some software I want wont run on XP - So my only real choice is to buy another PC which runs Windows 8 for the later software and for browsing. Ok, I can get a recon base for about £150 which will handle everything I would need Windows 8 for - and have a KVM switch....
But for now, I will just have to miss out on SoundCloud.
Is there any chance that TW could host a few audio samples, perhaps just for a week, so that members could share their creations without the hassle involved with other sites? -
