Which theremin did you get for the holidays?

I wonder if somehow you could couple them optically with IR emitter/receivers?  One side would only have a battery to power it, then you could get away with cords only coming from the other side.

Dominik you are an excellent theremin designer with proven results. I am happy to see you have a split pitch/volume design as this has much more versatility. I also separate my oscillators from the main board so alternate board designs can be dropped in and out for testing.

Jason I myself use a stereo cable between my two main components which supplies ground, positive and the audio signal. Ground loop hum can become an issue with long cable runs so precautions must be observed. In my theremin research a total of 50 feet of theremin cables is not uncommon. The pitch and volume sections have three cables each for various purposes.
