Oh, I know you are... but I have 4 kids and a wife to feed while I'm figuring out my next steps ;) Plus, I have a pretty fun gig right now. My problem is that I always want to accomplish about 20x more than I possibly have time for.
The trick is setting time aside for music each day or even week. I'm surprised how much music I can write if I just make a plan for doing it and stick to it. Any of your children play the theremin? Pedals will certainly make it more entertaining for them. My guitarist son has no interest in it - but he does have an interest in that H9 pedal!

They like to play around with it, and one of my 7yo daughters is showing a lot of interest in the piano, so there's a chance she'll pick up other instruments. I have a sort of "exploration space" set up in the garage with some keyboards & theremins, but so far I'm the primary user. But this has me thinking again about ways I can encourage them to experiment with music.
We bought our first EWS Theremin partly as a conversation and general musical inspiration piece for my wife's piano studio. I think a Theremini would fill that bill better with the built-in effects and speaker and such. Some day (soon I hope) one of my creations will be in there doing yeoman's work.
