Fred Mundell?

Jason said: "With great sadness, I must report that Fred has passed away. He had apparently been in poor health for some time. His daughter reached out today to give us the news."

I had private email exchanges with Fred over a year ago and swore to not divulge our conversations. I had promised him one of his favorite UK guitarist would partner up with someone we all know, him too and was going to do something special for the theremin community and concept. I seemed to have missed on that prediction but it could still happen. Humans are so funny, I love you all.

After losing Fred I do feel the void, but it is still present... is there to be another?

Fred's daughter got back in touch with me, there will be a service for Fred at Southampton Crematorium on April 1 at 4PM.  You can view the diary here:

Fred died on Clara's birthday, which is rather eerily fitting.

"Frederick Jack Mundell late of Southampton, sadly passed away on 9th March 2016, aged 59 years. A service to celebrate the life of Fred will take place at 4pm on Friday 1st April at Southampton Crematorium (West Chapel), all who knew him are welcome to attend the service. Flowers if desired, donations if you wish to the Children's Liver Disease Foundation, these can be given to the funeral director or made online"

dew my logical friend, I hate to hear you have had periods of struggle recently but trust me they are just chemical reactions or lack of in the brain. Depression a distant lonely place almost void of positive thought and not something you can think your way out of, it is improved with other chemicals or just time. This is a good time to have a best friend near. I have mentioned before that I have been on lithium for over thirty years. I have touched heaven and visited hell, it has taught me many things, especially about helping other people and why we are all here.

Over 250,000 people check out everyday, then again over 350,000 babies are born... that makes me smile. Everyone's time is limited, you have received an email from me before and at the bottom it says

"In life do something beautiful and do it well with your moment on earth."

It probably means something different for everyone.

Christopher, thanks for your understanding.  With Fred's death I lost a technical (and political) soul mate.  Life is so incredibly fragile.

Me too thinks often of him. We had our "frictions". But besides these occasional "accidents" where things went emotional (most probably due to his illness), I always liked discussing with him at eyes' height and with respect for his knowledge and experience.
