Emmanuelle, that are golden words. Even such a primitive function as voice recording in your phone would be useful.

One central grounded power strip is ok, please don‘t overthink potential issues!
You are welcome! I‘m building and repairing Theremins of all different brands and types for almost 10 years now. I teach Theremin students for more than 5 years. And, a little more than 8 years ago, you guessed it probably, it was me who invented the famous ESPE01 module. Thus, I have gone through almost everything what can happen with these highly sensitive instruments and it is normal for me to share this broad horizon of experience with others. :-)

ILYA - What if I told you I don't even have a smartphone ! :) But I appreciate the validity of your and oldtemecula's suggestion. I will look into getting a minimum of equipment for sound acquisition. If you have a suggestion for a small, simple and reasonably priced hardware/software (PC/Windows) combo, available in Europe, I'd be very happy to take note of it :)

Your PC or laptop almost certainly has a microphone and line level input, so all you need is cabling and some software. Plenty of free software recorders out there (I use Adobe Audition 3.0 which is quite nice and you can find legally for free on the web).

Yes, I know ! You probably don't remember our email exchange, but I'm the French woman living in Berlin who you very kindly advised on a theremin choice last June. I hope we are able to come to a theremin academy in Colmar in the near future. My 7 y.o. son will be taking lessons too, and I hoped you might be able to tune our theremin to be played by a child (Carolina's suggestion). Three months after I initially posted this topic, I wanted to give an update.
My local music shop didn't have the Behringer, and wouldn't order it. They recommended the BOSS Katana 50, which I could try in-store. I did try it and found it very nice (in the price range of the Behringer, digital effects - the acoustic sound is great - and with headphone output). I've been practicing with it for 3 months now, and I recommend it.
