- More than one saying per post is OK.

I think fortunes are interesting and sometimes give me a bit of a thrill.  I know it's not the universe or fate or whatever talking to me, just my brain finding patterns where they don't exist, but it's still fun and often times inspiring.

1. One that would have the fruit must climb the tree.

(i.e. sufficient diffusion of responsibility in a sufficiently large group enables immense evil.  I don't know why, but I'm partial to dark, scolding fortunes.)

9. Digital circuits are made from analog parts.  (<=ACTUAL COOKIE FORTUNE I RECEIVED!)
