Zoom G1on : very first impressions

I can imagine that when the buttons are metal and you're not wearing shoes it will change the pitch when touching them with a foot, just as when you're touching metal of an effects pedal or the sleeve of the audio cable with a hand.


Agh, good call. You were right, I've been using my bare feet and didn't even consider that. Just tested it with shoes and it was fine. Thank you!

Thanks Daniel! Several of the filters sound totally different on my setup - I wonder if one of ours isn't reset to factory setting?

p.s. a guitar teacher once told me he doesn't want his students to look at pedals or effects at all until they've been playing for at least a year, because they will spend all their time futzing with them instead of practicing. I can see why :-)

Bendra: The patches have names too, we could compare names.

THere's a PDF of the factory default patches on the Zoom website with the names that you could download and compare.

With the application on your computer you can restore the factory patches if you want.
